Lauren's Prom 2013

There's something about watching high school girls dress up, get their hair and make-up done and walk around with their sweet dates that just makes me excited. No, I'm not trying to relive the glory days. There's just something about it that draws me in.

So I was very excited when Lauren's mom called me earlier in the week to see if I would be interested in taking some pictures for Lauren's prom. Um...YES! And it was wonderful. Everyone looked ravishing and Lauren was absolutely glowing. Maybe it was the makeup and dress, or her cute beau she had coming along, but Lauren looked absolutely stunning. (I just can't tell you guys enough about how amazing she looked).

And let me just tell you, a few years ago, Lauren and I and a group of many other sweet people, traveled far off to Africa for a mission trip. And I knew from the start Lauren was something special. And she was. (of course, still is). From her love for babies, to her sweet spirit, I've always been drawn to Lauren, as have many other people. Her personality is absolutely precious, her laugh and smile is contagious and she's just fun to be around.

So Lauren, I hope you and everyone else had such a good time at your prom this year. You all looked so marvelous, I'm sure you did. And thank you so much for letting me take your pictures :)
